    Dashboard Custom View

I'm new to ipMonitor and I'm just getting our Dashboard view setup the way we'd like it.  Currently I have the dashboard setup to show "Devices with Down Monitors", but is there a way to list the actual monitors that are down.  I understand I can click on the device to see what is down, but I'd like to know if there is a way to show the down monitors on the main screen and/or Dashboard view.

    Thanks!

Welcome aboard!   You can go to Devices tab and select Default SmartGroups in the tree.  Check box next to Down Monitors and move to My Network group.    This will now show "Down Monitors" SmartGroup in the My Network Contents on your main Dashboard.   You can click the icon next to any group in My Network Contents to bring up the NOC View.   Worth checking out if you haven't already!

Everytime I put something in My Network, it doesn't appear on the Dashboard. Any insight to what could be causing that?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by put something in My Network?  Also, where in the Dashboard are you seeing this component missing?

Sorry for the late post here..I'm just having trouble customizing the dashboard with items I want, like some of the default smartgroups.

No worries. If you can please describe exactly what you are trying to accomplish, then I'll see if it's it something we can do.

I want to be able to add things like one of the default SmartGroups to the Dashboard.

I've moved a default SmartGroup (All Monitors) to the My Network group.   Is the screen shot below look like what you want to accomplish?

    Re: Dashboard Custom View

This I've already done, but what I'd like to do is show different sub-items in the Smartgroups, such as the "Routers" group on the Dashboard. The method you used shows all Groups when I only want specific ones.

Yeah, in that one you have the Routers group there. I'd like to be able to pick and choose what appears there.
